About The Event
Dan Zoto is the current Vice Chair of the Cape Cod chapter of the Massachusetts Archaeological Society and former Park Archaeologist for the Cape Cod National Seashore. Come hear him speak about the thousands of years of history of people living on Cape Cod, and his recent projects including research into Squanto's burial place and Potanumicut, a 17th and 18th century Christianized Native American village on Lower Cape Cod. He also recently reanalyzed the nearly 2,000 Native American artifacts excavated in 1960 at John and Pricilla Alden's 17th century homesite.
